Frequently Asked Questions

How many clubs can I trade in towards my purchase?

Customers may trade-in an unlimited number of clubs; however, the value of all trade-ins must be applied to a new club purchase at the time of the trade. The price of the new club purchased must be greater than or equal to the value of the trade-in(s). Customers may trade in multiple clubs and apply their values toward the purchase of new qualifying clubs, but only one bonus can be applied to the transaction during the Trade-In Event (June 25 – July 29, 2026).

How do I find out the trade-in value of my club(s)?

Do I have to trade in the same type of club as the one I am buying? (e.g. driver for driver)

All types of clubs are eligible for trade; however, the trade-in bonus only applies when trading in a club(s) towards the purchase of a qualifying new driver or iron set. We accept trades on all eligible clubs, subject to in-person approval by a Golf Town employee. Each club must be inspected in-store by an authorized associate to confirm the club's authenticity, model and condition. Please visit your nearest Golf Town store for more information on trade-in values and promotion details.

How does the "50% trade-in bonus" work?

Do wedges and putters qualify for the trade-in bonus?

If I trade in my club and then change my mind, can I get my club back?

Can I apply the value of my trade-in(s) towards the purchase of a product other than clubs? (e.g. footwear)

Trade-in values will be applied to the purchase of a qualifying new club at the time of the trade. Trade ins can only be performed in-store, and the bonus must be redeemed on the same day and at the same location where the trade-in occurred. Trade-ins cannot be redeemed for cash or gift cards, and values cannot be applied to prior purchases. The purchase must be equal to or greater than the trade-in credit after the bonus is applied. If the purchase amount is less than the trade-in credit, the difference is not eligible for refund and will be forfeited.
