Returns & Exchange Policy

 

 

Subject to the terms indicated at the time of original purchase, if a customer is not satisfied with his/her purchase he/she may return it free of charge for a refund (unless otherwise indicated herein) or exchange under the terms set out herein. A receipt is required for all returns and exchanges. Golf Town and its associates are committed to providing customer satisfaction on all services and products purchased in store with proof of purchase.

 

 

All returns and exchanges must be made within 30 days of the original purchase and include the original receipt. There will be no refunds or exchanges on items without the original receipt. All refunds will be processed to the same tender and card number (if applicable) as used for the original sale. Golf Town does not issue store credits. Returned items must be in their original packaging, unopened, with all original tags/tickets attached, and in new condition (note: does not apply to the Fair-Way Performance Guarantee - see details below), with all original parts, manuals, and accessories, unused and unworn, as applicable. Items are subject to verification of integrity before being accepted for a refund or exchange. For health and hygiene reasons, all sales of socks, swimwear, and undergarments are final and are not eligible for return or exchange. Returns with a gift receipt can be exchanged for a similar item or returned for a gift card. Gift cards are not eligible for return. A valid piece of government issued photo ID is required, and your name, address, and phone number will be documented.

 

 

Online Purchases

 

For purchases made on Golftown.com, all returns and exchanges must be made within 30 days of the shipping date. A printout of the e-mail order confirmation and photo ID matching the Ship To/Bill To address is required to process the return in-store.

 

Gift with Purchase

 

If the purchase included a free gift or bonus item (i.e. free sleeve of golf balls, gift card, etc.) this item must also be returned, or the current retail value of that item will be deducted from the amount eligible for exchange or refund.

 

"Buy One, Get One" (BOGO) Offers

 

When a regular priced item purchased as part of a "Buy One, Get One" offer is returned, the discount on the second item is forfeited. Both items can be returned for a full refund, or the second item may be repurchased at the current selling price. Items purchased as part of a BOGO offer with a free item can be refunded with the return of all items. Individual items can be exchanged.

 

Bundles

 

Non-identical items purchased as part of a bundle package may be returned or exchanged separately, however the value assigned to the item will be the current retail price of that item less the discount received as part of the bundle offer. For example, if the price paid for the bundle reflects an average discount of 10% on each item, then the amount refunded for any individual item returned will be the current retail price of the item less 10%.

 

Custom Orders

 

Custom and special orders items are eligible for a one-time exchange for similar product (i.e. driver for driver) within 30 days, provided all other criteria are met. Custom iron sets must be a minimum of six (6) matching pieces in sequential order (i.e. 5-PW) to qualify.

 

Pre-Owned and "Demo" Golf Clubs

 

Pre-owned and “Demo" golf clubs may be exchanged within thirty (30) days of purchase, for similar product only, provided they are in the same condition as when they were purchased.

 

Warranty Returns

 

An original receipt is required to initiate a warranty claim. Warranties are valid only from the original date of purchase. If you receive a new or repaired item under the manufacturer’s warranty, that item will remain under warranty from the purchase date on your original receipt - the warranty does not restart when a replacement item is received. Check the terms of the manufacturer’s warranty for further conditions and limitations that may apply. Note that some warranties are at the discretion of the vendor.

 

Fairway Performance Guarantee

 

To qualify for the Fair-Way Performance Guarantee, the golf club must have a retail value of $199 or more and must be returned within 30 days of the original purchase date along with the original receipt. The value of the clubs may be used as credit towards a new purchase of similar clubs only. No refunds will be issued. Items that are damaged or show excessive wear are not eligible for this program. This program does not apply to grip size or style changes. Honma, Maruman, Miura, Yamaha and XXIO clubs, and boxed package sets are not eligible for the Fair-Way Guarantee. The Fair-Way Guarantee applies only once for each original purchase, meaning the replacement clubs would not be eligible to be returned under the program.

 

Golf Town reserves the right to limit and decline returns and exchanges for any reason including and without limitation the unavailability of items for exchange, if the manufacturer refuses warranty, if the origin of the item is unknown, if the item is deemed to be counterfeit by a Golf Town employee or representative, if Golf Town determines that customer has not met the requirements in these terms or any other or additional terms or policies that may apply to individual purchases, or in the event of abuse of the return processes set out herein or other fraud or suspicious activities concerning returns.

 

 

All online purchases can either be returned at any local Golf Town store OR shipped back to one of two Golf Town Returns Processing Centers (see below). Shipping will not be provided and the original shipping charge will not be refunded. For item(s) returning back to a return processing center, Golf Town is not responsible for the item(s) until it's physically returned at the RPC.

A printout of the e-mail order confirmation is required to process the return in-store. Please Note: the original shipping charge will not be refunded.
 

 

For all items being returned:

 

Returns involving a manufacturer's warranty or satisfaction guarantee rely solely upon the discretion of the original product manufacturer.

 

The following items may not be returned:
1. Custom orders, 2. Personalized items, 3. Undergarments, 4. Technology (GPS, Rangefinders) if used or registered with the manufacturer, 5. Gift cards.

Golf Town Returns Processing Centers

Any item purchased online on golftown.com (except the items listed above on the exclusion list) can also be returned by mailing it to one of our Returns Treatment Centers. All shipping fees must be prepaid. Returns sent shipping collect will not be accepted.
