The G440 fairway family (MAX, LST, SFT) advances PING’s reputation as a Tour-preferred model of choice through a re-designed face structure and low CG system. The face is taller for more confidence off the tee while maintaining a CG location that delivers high- launching performance off the ground. The face thickness is optimized in the heel and toe regions for more consistent performance on on-center strikes. Each model is designed to fit a specific player type with a head profile engineered to provide launch conditions that best match a player’s swing. The MAX model (which fits most golfers) is available in five lofts (including a new 4-wood) to provide more gapping solutions. The multi-material LST (Low Spin) design appeals to players with faster swing speeds, providing high launch and lower spin. Golfers in need of slice-correction technology fit best in the SFT (Straight Flight) option, which features a draw-inducing CG location."

- Re-designed Face Structure
A shallower face (8%) helps golfers hit higher on the face, which in turn helps them launch their hybrids higher. A thinner face (6%) and optimized face profile help increase ball speed in the middle of the face and control ball speed on off-center strikes. - Free-Hosel Technology
By removing 4g from the hosel, screw, and heel section of all hybrid lofts, mass savings lower the CG by 12% and combine with the reduced face height to increase launch and stopping power without compromising ball speed. - Contoured Sole Design
Slimming down the back-weight profile ensures that the club sits more flush to the ground and the face angle remains consistent – no matter the loft or lie setting -- allowing golfers to benefit from the multiple loft and lie options provided by the adjustable hosel. - Extensive Loft Offerings
Each hybrid is designed to fit golfers with various skill levels. The 2 hybrid (17°) is slightly fade-biased with a lower, more penetrating flight for off-the-tee performance. Loft has been increased by 1° in the 3 (20°) and 4 (23°), hybrids for higher launch with a neutral flight and more stopping power. The 5 (26°), 6 (30°) and 7 (34°) hybrids provide a slight draw bias and higher launch to help them fly straighter and gap well into an iron set. - CarbonFly Wrap Crown
The CarbonFly Wrap crown saves weight, which is re-allocated to help lower the CG, ensure forgiveness and contribute to a more muted, pleasing sound at impact. - Trajectory Tuning 2.0 Adjustable Hosel
The lightweight, 8-position hosel enables adjustments for loft (±1.5°) and lie (up to 3° flatter than std.) to further dial in ball flight for the best results.
