Our Demo Event will begin across the country with early access exclusively online at golftown.com starting at 12pm EDT on Thursday, October 30th running until 11:59pm EDT on Friday, October 31st. And that’s just the beginning…

Then on Saturday November 1st at 9am local time, our doors will open at all locations for in-store shopping giving you the chance to hand pick your gear or find that hidden gem.

WHAT IS THE DEMO EVENT?

The Golf Town team has worked hard to secure Canada’s largest assortment of demo clubs, and offer savings up to 40% off gently-used demo clubs from top brands like TaylorMade, Cobra, Callaway, Titleist, PING and Mizuno – just to name a few.

But it's more than just clubs. This year, we’re offering limited, online-only quantities of demo electric carts and demo launch monitors while supplies last. Plus, from Oct. 30 – Nov. 5, you can expect huge deals across all departments, like apparel, bags, golf balls, footwear and more!

What is a “demo” golf club?

A demo golf club has been previously enjoyed by another player(s). It may have been used outside, as a rental set, at a retailer as a test club in the simulator, used to perform custom fittings, or at vendor sponsored events. The condition of demo clubs can range from nearly new to showing normal signs of wear for a used club (e.g. blemishes, ball-marks, minor scratches, worn grips, etc.).

What is the Demo Club Event?

Golf Town’s Demo Club Event features current models of “demo” golf clubs from the best brands in golf at up to 40% off the original MSRP. All pricing shown on the website is the current demo pricing and will be reflected in the cart upon checkout.

Can I buy demo golf clubs in store?

The Demo Event will begin exclusively on golftown.com Thursday, October 30th starting at Noon ET and ending Friday, October 31st at 11:59pm ET. The event will then switch to in-store only on November 1st and 2nd. All Golf Town store locations will open at 9 AM on Saturday, November 1st. Please note: inventory will vary by location.

What is the return/exchange policy on demo clubs?

Demo clubs may be returned or exchanged at any Golf Town store location within 30 days of the original purchase date. All demo purchases made on golftown.com can be returned at any Golf Town store location or by mail to one of our Return Processing Centres within 30 days from the date of purchase (please see the back of your packing slip for more details). NOTE: Returns will not be accepted in-store on November 1st & 2nd. Returns and exchanges will resume Monday, November 3rd.

In what condition should I expect to receive my demo club?

The inventory of demo clubs for this year’s event are in the best condition we have seen in recent years, however please remember that most demo clubs will show visible, cosmetic signs of use including but not limited to blemishes ball marks and grip wear. All demo clubs sold in the Demo Event have been inspected by one of our golf club experts to ensure it performs like new.

What is the warranty on demo clubs?

All demo clubs offered in the Demo Event carry a one (1) year warranty from the date of purchase.

Since demo clubs may have been previously hit, what precautions have been taken to ensure my safety and satisfaction?

Each demo club has been cleaned and inspected by a Golf Town club expert before being shipped to certify that it will perform like new.

How long will it take for my demo club purchase to arrive at my home?

Most orders are processed within 2 business days and arrive at their destination within 2 - 5 business days once the order has been shipped, however shipping times will vary depending on the carrier and final destination. Once your order is picked up by a carrier (FedEx or FleetOptics) you will receive a shipment confirmation email with the tracking number that you can use to conveniently track your order online.

Why doesn't my demo club come with a headcover or wrench?

Headcovers and wrenches are not included with the purchase of demo golf clubs. Demo headcovers and wrenches will be available to purchase separately at some Golf Town store locations based on inventory availability. Note: most wrenches are now universal so as long as you have a wrench, it should work with your new demo club purchase.

Can I reserve a club and purchase in-store?

Demo golf clubs cannot be reserved to purchase in-store. All demo offers and clubs are available on a first-come, first-served basis. Come early to get the best selection!

When does the Demo Club Event end?

The Demo Event ends on Wednesday, November 12th however, demo product is while supply lasts and will vary by location and golftown.com

Will the simulators be open in store to test demo clubs?

Simulators will be open and available for customers to try before they buy once the sale begins in-store on Saturday, November 1st.

If purchasing online, will the items I add to cart be reserved?

Inventory is only reserved for three (3) minutes after you add it to your cart. After three (3) minutes items will still be in your cart, however they may no longer be available to purchase.

Are there any limits to how many demo clubs I can purchase online?

Customers are free to purchase with no restrictions on variety. However, there is a limit of three (3) units per customer for any specific style. For example, you can buy up to 3 TaylorMade Qi35 drivers and up to 3 TaylorMade Qi iron sets in a single order.

In what condition should I expect to receive my demo electric cart?

The demo electric carts may show visible, cosmetic signs of use, including but not limited to scuffs, surface scratches, wheel wear, or minor upholstery marks. To guarantee quality, every demo electric cart has been thoroughly inspected to ensure it operates like new.

What is included in my Demo Electric Cart purchase?

All demo electric carts include a battery, charger, and a 1-year warranty from the date of purchase. Remote models also include the battery, charger, and remote control, along with the same 1-year warranty from the date of purchase.

Can I buy a demo electric cart in store?

Our Demo Electric Cart offer will be available in-store and online, while quantities last.
