The new Project X LZ Hand Crafted shaft combines a unique “Loading Zone” technology for a flexible mid-section with proprietary FlexLok™ torsional bands. These two technologies work together to produce maximum shaft loading without the loss of stability. The result is maximized ball speed with total control.

Project X’s unique “loading zone” technology produces maximum shaft load during the downswing for 7% greater energy transfer to the ball at impact for more distance.

The loading zone is specifically positioned by flex to maximize ball speed and spin properties. Project X engineers created a unique recipe of a very flexible mid section (the loading zone) with a robust butt and tip section to create a radically different shaft load profile during the downswing.

Made in the U.S.A. at our San Diego facility, Project X Hand Crafted graphite shafts have been manufactured with the utmost care of any shaft in the industry. When producing a Hand Crafted shaft, each layer of material is cut by hand, rolled on by hand, painted by hand and the logos are even applied by hand, making the entire process truly Hand Crafted. This intimate practice demands the highest attention to detail and because of this Project X can only produce about 50 Hand Crafted shafts per day—justly embodying what Project X is about: quality.
