And with Z-Alloy’s unique rust-resistant properties, you’ll enjoy longer-lasting performance without having to replace your Wedges as often.
For classic groove length and head shape, select either MID, FULL, LOW, or 588 sole grinds. For full-face grooves and a higher toe profile, select the new ADAPT sole grind—crafted on tour for open-faced finesse shots.

ZipCore iQ uses uniquely optimized hosel cores for each RTZ 2 loft and grind combination to improve consistency and control. Multiple lightweight core variations redistribute mass, resulting in more reliable performance on both center and off-center strikes.
Z-ALLOY
Z-Alloy is a proprietary steel with better feel. It’s softer, less dense, and remarkably durable. It gives RTZ 2 Wedges superior feel, better forgiveness, and more consistency. On RTZ 2 Tour Rack Wedges, Z-Alloy’s rust-resistant properties ensure longer lasting, like-new performance.
HYDRAZIP
HydraZip’s face blasts and laser-milled lines maximize spin in wet conditions. Dynamically configured by loft groupings, it balances spin across lofts while enhancing performance in adverse weather.
ULTIZIP
UltiZip’s sharper grooves cut through grass and debris at contact, while deeper grooves help make space for grass, sand, dirt, or water to clear the impact zone, giving RTZ 2 Wedges stronger, more consistent spin from the fairway, rough, or bunker.
TYPE OF GRINDS
MID (Bounce: 10°): All-Around Performance
Cleveland's most trusted option for all-around wedge play. Its V-shaped sole cuts through the turf smoothly in a variety of conditions thanks to a moderate trailing-edge grind. Best for most swing types.
FULL (Bounce: 12°): Sand and Rough Specialty
This higher-bounce design offers full-shot stability and total confidence from bunkers and thick rough. Best for softer conditions and steeper swing types.
LOW (Bounce: 6°): Shotmaking Versatility
Lob Wedge versatility designed with heel, toe, and trailing-edge sole relief. Ideal for skilled players seeking enhanced greenside shotmaking, firm conditions, and shallow swing types.
588 (Bounce: 8°): Classic Versatility
Inspired by Cleveland's legendary 588 Wedge, increased bounce in the toe and reduced bounce in the heel deliver exceptional versatility and forgiveness. Best for moderate to shallower swing types.
ADAPT (Bounce: 8°): Full-Face Precision
Total versatility and greenside precision with full-face grooves and an added leading edge bounce chamfer. Ideal for skilled players and open-face shots thanks to sole relief on the heel, toe, and trailing edge.
